Industrial Engineering

Industrial Engineering is a multidisciplinary career that trains professionals in a wide range of engineering profiles. In other countries, Industrial Engineering focuses on the field of industrial management and logistics. However, in Spain it also encompasses extensive knowledge in fields such as mechanics, automation, electrical, electronics, materials, fluid mechanics and thermal engineering.

It is often said that the industrial engineer "knows a little of everything and a lot of nothing". Far from being a negative aspect, this comment reaffirms the dynamic character and the ease of adaptation to new fields of the professionals who hold this university degree. Today, over-specialization implies obsolescence.

My educational background

Interested from a very young age in design and technology, my dream was to work in the most interesting profession I could think of, that of "inventor".

  • In 2015 I enrolled at the Carlos III University of Madrid, with a reputed experience in the engineering sector as well as in many other professional profiles. In this university, which is among the 50 best young universities in the world (QS Top 50 Under 50 Ranking), my interest in the fields of electronics, mechanics and programming was awakened.

  • In 2018, during the last year of my degree, I participated in a European mobility program where I studied one semester at "Hochschule Ravensburg-Weingarten" (Germany).

  • In 2019 I was admitted in the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering taught at the same university in Madrid, with the aim of acquiring the competencies and skills that make it possible to practice the profession of Industrial Engineer.

  • In 2020 I had my second experience abroad, studying for a semester at the University of the Italian capital "Università degli Studi Roma Tre".
